Modern, Joyful Wedding Photography
capturing the energy, emotion and connection of your day.
If you’re planning a wedding and feeling excited, overwhelmed, or a bit of both, you’re definitely not alone.
There’s a lot of pressure right now for wedding photos to look like they belong in a fashion magazine. While that can be beautiful, it’s not fundamentally what weddings are about. I believe the most meaningful images come when you feel comfortable enough to be yourselves and fully present in the day you’ve so carefully curated.
I’m drawn to the details, but my absolute favourites in every gallery are the moments where you’re simply being yourselves, without performance. The ones filled with colour, movement and real emotion. Capturing how a day felt will never go out of style. That’s the heart of my approach.
A relaxed, natural approach
I’m a wedding photographer for couples who care deeply about people, connection and how their day feels. The laughter, the tears, the quiet moments, the chaos, and everything in between.
My approach is relaxed and unobtrusive, with very little traditional posing. I’ll gently guide you when needed, helping you feel comfortable and connected so the moments we capture feel natural and effortless.
You don’t need to be good in front of the camera
Most of my couples tell me they feel awkward in front of the camera. It’s something I hear all the time, and it’s never a problem. I’m pretty good at making people feel at ease, usually with a bit of dry humour, the occasional sarcastic comment, and absolutely zero pressure to perform.
Just have fun, feel the energy of the day and pretend nobody’s watching.
The more relaxed you are, the better the photos. That’s always my number one priority.
